(Friday, January 11; Sioux Center, Iowa) Natalie Sampson, a senior at MOC Floyd Valley High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the dance program.
Sampson has been the dance team captain for two years at MOC Floyd Valley and has extensive experience with Robin's School of Dance where she has earned the five, 10 and 15 year awards.
"I have known Natalie a long time through her many years of dancing at the studio in town with me, and I am very glad to hear that she will be continuing to dance with us at Dordt next year! She has a very positive and bubbly personality as well as experience being on a competitive dance group. I am greatly looking forward to having her join our team next year!" said Dordt dance coach Mel Knobloch.
Natalie is the daughter of Brent and Teresa Sampson of Orange City, Iowa. She plans to study Education at Dordt.
Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
