(Tuesday, February 12; Sioux Center, Iowa) Mason Stolle, a senior at Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School (South Dakota) has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender soccer program.
Stolle earned 2018 All-State and All-Conference honors and was a four-time scholar-athlete honoree. He served as a team captain and scored a goal with three assists last season and is listed as a 6-0 defender.
"Mason is a determined and defensive-minded player who exemplifies the character we are building this program around. It has been a pleasure getting to know him and his family throughout the recruiting process. We are excited to have Mason at Dordt and are thankful for retaining the connection to the Sioux Falls area," said Dordt men's soccer coach Ryan Gresse.
Mason is the son of Ross Stolle and Dawn Stansbury of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He plans to study Engineering at Dordt.
Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
