From March 21 to April 7, the Dordt College Art Gallery will feature the exhibition “Work, Pray, Admire (Werk, Bid en Bewonder): A New Perspective on Art and Calvinism.” Showcasing a collection of historical artifacts and facsimiles of selected pieces from the Synod of Dort, the exhibit was curated by Marianne Eekhout at the Dordrechts Museum in Dordrecht, Netherlands.

“This is a unique exhibition, particularly as Dordt commemorates the 400th anniversary of the Synod of Dort,” says David Versluis, art professor at Dordt.

A reception will be held during the Prodigal Love of God Conference on April 5 at 8:15 p.m., with a brief gallery talk by Versluis. Refreshments will be served.
