(Thursday, April 18; Sioux Center, Iowa) Jackson Lee, a senior at Seton Catholic Preparatory (Arizona), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender basketball program.
Lee is a 6-2 guard who averaged 15 points per game last season while converting a state best 91 percent of his free throws. He was a first-team all-region pick as a junior and senior and was the Region Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. "Jackson has been around basketball his whole life, as his dad is a college coach, and therefore, knows the game extremely well. He is a really good shooter, passer, and team player. We look forward to him growing as a person and player here at Dordt," said Dordt basketball coach Brian Van Haaften.
Jackson is the son of Todd and Kim Lee. He plans to study Business at Dordt.
